Job Description :
Breakfast Service (6 AM – 10 AM):
This role requires great customer service skills. You will be responsible for providing a continental breakfast to all hotel guests. Duties include:
Preparing and stocking the serving area with food and beverages, such as coffee, juice, fruit, and pastries.
Keeping the serving areas clean and restocked as needed. Clearing tables and preparing for incoming guests. Ensuring that the breakfast area is well-maintained and organized.
Housekeeping Duties (After Breakfast Service):
Following your breakfast shift, you will transition to housekeeping for the remainder of the day. Responsibilities include:
Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms (including toilets and showers), and common areas. Changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning mirrors and furniture using cleaning chemicals.
Restocking guest rooms with supplies such as linens and bathroom amenities. Inspecting rooms for necessary repairs or maintenance issues.
Cleaning and vacuuming public areas, including restrooms, and emptying trash. Assisting with laundry or other departments as needed.
This job is physically demanding and requires the ability to stand, bend, lift mattresses, and push a 50lb/23kg cart throughout the day. Please do not apply if you are sensitive to cleaning chemicals or have physical limitations that will keep you from doing your job.
You may be assigned shifts at our other property, The Evergreen Hotel, located nearby, depending on business needs. Housing is shared with Evergreen Hotel participants. Please note that McCall is a small, remote town with no large city nearby. Be sure to research the area to ensure you are comfortable living in a secluded environment.
Additional hours may be available in the evenings for those performing exceptionally well, with opportunities to work at our on-site restaurant, The Cedars Lounge in the Evergreen Hotel.
Must be dependable, hard-working, friendly, and a very trustworthy and honest individual. Positions require attention to detail, punctuality, and a great service attitude & team spirit. Flexible to help in other positions as requested. Additional tasks as requested by management. You will be working all weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), all holidays, and evening shifts. If you call out sick or miss shifts, your employer is not required to schedule any additional shifts that week for you. You can not miss shifts due to any other jobs or online classes while working at your primary job. You may not work the same shifts as your friends. Nor will you have the same days off as your friends. No job, or hours at a job, can be 100% guaranteed. Regardless of what your work contract states, there is always a possibility that you will work more or fewer hours. Some days will be slower than others.
